Here’s looking at you. And you. And you

LENSEC is good at keeping a vigilant eye on the situation, particularly for independent school districts and municipalities. When they were founded just over a decade ago, the software integrator was a pioneer in the fledgling industry of IP-based video surveillance. Post-Columbine, school districts in particular were keenly aware of a need to know what was going in and around their campuses. As a result, the video surveillance industry grew exponentially — also fueled by the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

In the world of Internet-enabled technology, 10 years is more than a lifetime. What was considered a cutting edge brand image in 2000 seems dated in 2010. So LENSEC turned to Easterly to update its brand, reposition the company to compete in the new century’s second decade and penetrate new vertical markets. Easterly’s creative team conducted a brand relevance study and an exhaustive evaluation of LENSEC’s competitive universe before recommending looking at the brand’s potential and application with “the power of perspective.”

The company’s new look will debut in the late Q3 2010 when they will also introduce their newest generation of video surveillance software — Perspective VMS — featuring two-click and remote accessibility for security personnel and first responders.

Easterly’s rebranding efforts will eventually include all corporate signage and ID materials, advertising and marketing materials, website, case studies, etc.
