Easterly sets Sysco’s Tabletop

Sysco Tabletop, a fully integrated marketing website, was developed by Easterly in early 2009 to give Sysco customers the tools needed to help with many of today’s recession challenges. The site includes a Chef Connection section that archives more than 800 searchable recipes uploaded by Sysco’s “culinary professionals” (chefs) and provides Sysco customers with the top selling menu items and ingredients by region. Also available to the site’s users are new ideas for holiday and seasonal promotions, free downloadable menu templates for chefs to use for daily special menu selections, and a library of restaurant growth strategies and marketing growth plans.

This marketing effort gives the Sysco sales force the tools to stay focused on growing operating company sales while supporting Sysco local restaurant customers/chefs and, ultimately, the restaurant patrons. Updated monthly, the Sysco Tabletop is currently highlighting summer recipes and fare, promotions and the hottest ingredients trends across the county. It also helps promote Sysco as a partner with its customers. Restaurant News took notice and covered the site’s debut in an article titled “Profiles in Partnership: Sysco website helps its customers build business” in its May 18, 2009 issue.
